WhatsApp Set to Launch Personalized Sticker Pack Feature for Enhanced User Experience

WhatsApp is enhancing its platform with an exciting new feature aimed at enriching the user experience by allowing the creation of personalized sticker packs. Recent findings from a feature tracker indicate that this new capability will streamline how stickers are managed within the messaging application. At present, users have the ability to add custom stickers to the Favourites section, which is unorganized. The introduction of custom sticker packs promises not only to better organize these stickers but also to enable sharing among users, facilitating viewing and importing of custom creations.

According to the feature tracker, a development currently being rolled out in the beta version for Android 2.24.22.13 includes this new functionality. While beta testers cannot access this feature just yet, insights into its operation have been gathered. The new feature is shown in a screenshot revealing an option labeled Add to sticker pack that appears in the pop-up card when a sticker is selected. This option is positioned between Add to Favourites and Edit sticker options.

When users select the Add to sticker pack option, a dialog box for creating a sticker pack opens, allowing them to designate a name for their new collection. After saving, the freshly made sticker pack will show up within the sticker selection menu on WhatsApp. As per the details uncovered, users will also see a three-dot menu next to their custom sticker pack, providing options to either send the pack to another user or to remove it as desired.

This developing feature seeks to assist users in arranging their custom stickers on WhatsApp, moving beyond the limitations of merely adding them to the favourites section. While this feature is still under construction, it holds the promise of enhancing the app's functionality in future updates for beta testers.
